Impressive Stankovic reserved for Inter future at cost of €25m in 2027

Inter fought hard to retain a buy-back clause on midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic when selling to Club Brugge, and they reportedly intend to use it in 2027.

He just celebrated his 20^th birthday in August and came up through the Inter youth academy, where he was working with his brother Filip and father Dejan, a Nerazzurri legend.

Following a loan experience at Luzern in Switzerland, he was sold to Club Brugge for €9.5m, where he has made 15 competitive appearances, scoring one goal.

Inter made sure to keep Stankovic control

However, the negotiations dragged on for weeks because Inter were determined to hold on to a buy-back clause at an affordable rate.

They succeeded, as the figure was set at €23m in the summer of 2026, and €25m if postponed until 2027.

According to L’Interista, the club is already planning to activate that clause and bring Stankovic back to San Siro come the summer of 2027.

He has already made steps forward, as this week he received his first senior call-up for Serbia.
