Manchester United are set to extend the contract of Harry Maguire in the coming weeks, according to The Daily Mail.
The centre-back has been a key player for the Mancunian giants. He had a tough time in 2024, but has found his form and confidence this year.
His performances in the back three have been lauded by manager Ruben Amorim and talks are underway with the hierarchy over a renewal.
The Englishman’s current deal expires in June next year. United could extend his stay for another two seasons on a similar weekly salary package.
Maguire has been linked with a big-money move to Saudi Arabia in recent months, but he appears content to continue with the Red Devils.
Hence, a renewal could be straightforward if an agreement is reached. United are making good progress over a renewal for the 32-year-old.
Alongside Maguire, the Mancunian giants could open contract talks with Lisandro Martinez despite his lengthy absence due to a knee injury.
