Today’s themes include Mauricio Pochettino’s ‘unacceptable’ treatment of Milan star Christian Pulisic, who will return from international duty with an injury issue, and Juventus’s ‘obligation’ to renew and improve Kenan Yildiz’s contract.
Pulisic was a starter for the USMNT in their friendly against Australia in the early hours of Wednesday morning, but has suffered an injury to his ankle, which means that he is now at risk of missing Milan’s upcoming Serie A match against Fiorentina this weekend.
Pedullà also feels that Juventus owe it to Golden Boy nominee Yildiz to extend, and importantly, improve his contract. The Turkish talent earns only slightly more than Juve’s current back-up goalkeeper Mattia Perin.
