Ten teams chase Man Utd’s Kobbie Mainoo

Manchester United star Kobbie Mainoo continues to find himself in the eye of a transfer storm. With limited game time, the 20-year-old England international is seeking to leave Old Trafford on loan in January.

While Napoli are leading the way for the Stockport-born star, there are 10 teams actively chasing the player. Among these sides are Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester City, plus Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The Blues, in particular, seem eager to snap up Mainoo, though as FootballTransfers’ data shows, there are better options open to him.

Chelsea in monster Rodrygo offer

Chelsea are ready to offer Real Madrid €80 million to sign Rodrygo in January, according to a report.

The Brazil international is unhappy with the lack of game time that he has received since Xabi Alonso took charge and has repeatedly been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu in January.

Arsenal have previously been linked with the winger, but now Chelsea appear to be making moves to snap up the South American as they seek additional offensive options after missing out on top choice Xavi Simons in the summer.

Arsenal target ‘Baby Zubimendi

Mikel Arteta seems satisfied with Arsenal’s front line options ahead of the January transfer window but is now turning his attentions towards the future by studying young prospects.

To that end, the Gunners are tracking the progress of wonderkid Kennet Eichhorn, who is just 16 years old but has already been making huge strides in the game for the 2.Bundesliga side.

Man Utd want to make two midfield signings in January and are best placed to land Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest.
