Bayern youngster keen to let “feet do the talking” amid media hype

Rising FC Bayern star Wisdom Mike insists he’s unfazed by the media spotlight.

At just 17, Wisdom Mike has already made his first appearances for Bayern Munich’s first team this season, featuring twice so far.

Being given opportunities at a club like Bayern at such a young age has generated significant media hype, but Mike insists he’s not letting the attention affect him.

“It doesn’t really put me under pressure,” he told Transfermarkt.

“At the end of the day, I’m here to play football. I try to ignore as much as possible of what comes from outside. I just want to let my feet do the talking.”

Mike is currently representing Germany’s U17 team at the World Cup in Qatar. 

He told Transfermarkt that he has learned “a lot of new things” at Bayern and is trying to “pass on my experience to the team here and integrate my strengths into our game.”
