Raffaele Palladino has arrived at the Atalanta training centre to sign a contract until June 2027 with La Dea.
Palladino is ready to be appointed as the new Atalanta coach as the former striker has just arrived at Zingonia.
As Football Italia already reported on Monday, Palladino will sign a contract until June 2027.
Atalanta confirmed Ivan Juric’s sacking on Monday and are now set to appoint the former Fiorentina tactician.
Palladino had been linked with a return to the Franchi last week, following Stefano Pioli’s dismissal and even to the Juventus job before Luciano Spalletti’s appointment.
However, as previously reported, the 41-year-old was never a genuine candidate for the Tuscans or the Bianconeri and is now ready to start a new chapter of his career.
Palladino will find a team that has the appropriate characteristics for his playing style and the club hope that the new coach will enhance the new summer signings who failed to impress under Juric.
Palladino will make his Atalanta debut away at Napoli after the international break.
