Conrad Harder has admitted that he hasn’t been playing as many minutes for RB Leipzig as he was hoping for when he made the switch from Sporting CP in the summer.

Since joining RB Leipzig last summer in a €24 million move from Sporting CP, Danish forward Conrad Harder has been limited to just 117 minutes across nine games.
Speaking to Viaplay, the 20-year-old admitted he expected more time on the pitch when he moved to Germany, but stressed that he is confident he will gradually see more playing time.
“The Portuguese league is different from the Bundesliga, so of course I had to get used to it, and I think I’ve made a really good impression in training,” said Harder.
“We have won a lot of games, which is good for the team. Obviously, I need more playing time soon, but I’m sure that will come. I’m showing what I can do in training and getting a lot of praise for it, so I’m looking forward to continuing to work hard,” added the Dane, who is currently behind Brazilian forward Rômulo in the pecking order.
“It’s difficult when the team is winning games and the striker is scoring goals, but of course I had expected a bit more playing time. I’m confident it will come.”
