The Azzurrini had taken the lead in this European Under-21 Championship qualifier thanks to a moment of sheer magic from Roma midfielder Pisilli.
He controlled the cross at the back post with his right boot, flicked it up over a defender and then smacked it with a scissor-kick volley into the far top corner.
However, it wasn’t enough, because the Nazionale were caught out twice by avoidable counter-attacks in the space of five minutes for a 2-1 defeat.
It drops them down to second place in the group, three points adrift of new leaders Poland.
