Palmer ruled out of Arsenal game

Arsenal have been handed a major boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this month.

The Gunners take on their London rivals on the road next week and ahead of the game, the Blues will be without a key player.

Cole Palmer was expected to return from a prolonged groin injury this week, but he will be sidelined for another few games.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca confirmed earlier today that the playmaker accidentally broke his toe at home during the international break.

The Blues have not beaten the Gunners in any competition since 2021. They have suffered five defeats in the league during this period.

They will be aiming to end the dreadful streak when the Gunners visit the Bridge. Despite Palmer’s absence, they have plenty of quality.

Enzo Fernandez is most likely to operate from the number 10 position in Palmer’s absence. Estevao has the potential to play in the role too.
