Nicolas Jackson’s €65million option to buy next summer can no longer turn into an obligation, according to Abendzeitung.

The striker had to play a combined 40 games in the Bundesliga & Champions League either from the start or through at least 45 minutes.

So far he has made 6 appearances while only a maximum of 33 more games remain based on the report.

Furthermore he will be away at the African Cup of Nations with Senegal which runs between the December 21 and January 18.

Given the Bavarians tasking trip to a London on Wednesday, Jackson is likely to start against St. Pauli tomorrow afternoon.

Despite only playing 547 minutes for Bayern largely as a substitute, Jackson has impressed scoring 4 goals alongside 1 assist.
