Fraser Hornby doubled his scoring tally with a brace in the 4-2 win against Greuther Fürth, but he was forced off with an injury in first-half against Elversberg. The Scotsman will not be expected to be fit for Saturday’s game, which could force Florian Kohfeldt to shift from his preferred 4-4-2 to 4-2-3-1.

Lilian Egloff and Louey Ben Farhat are still on the sidelines for Karlsruhe. The visitors have three players who are on the verge of suspension with four yellow cards.
