Talks have commenced between TSG Hoffenheim and Ihlas Bebou regarding a potential contract extension.
Bebou is regarded as a deserving player and versatile attacking midfielder by those in the Sinsheim club’s hierarchy.
Furthermore, the Togolese international is considered an important substitute by coach Christian Ilzer.
The player’s representatives and Hoffenheim will discuss a new deal, with a decision is expected in the spring.
Bebou, once of Hannover 96, joined Hoffenheim in May 2019 after the Lower Saxony club were relegated from the Bundesliga.
The now 31-year-old has played over 169 games for Hoffenheim in all competitions, scoring 37 goals and providing 25 assists.
