Dortmund and Stuttgart amongst clubs in pursuit of Marseille talent

The two Bundesliga clubs could face competition from sides in the English topflight for the 18-year-old talent.

According to information obtained by Fußball Transfers from France, multiple Bundesliga clubs are interested in Darryl Bakola. 

Borussia Dortmund and VfB Stuttgart are said to be keeping a close eye on the highly talented player from Olympique Marseille.

However, the chances of signing him could be lower than ever because Bakola has received a contract extension offer from Marseille.

Still, if the 18-year-old doesn’t accept the offer quickly, the Ligue 1 giants could agree to a sale in the winter transfer window.

Despite being contracted until 2027, Marseille will demand a clear commitment from Bakola – or they’ll be happy with a hefty transfer fee.

It must be noted that English Premier League sides like Arsenal, Newcastle United and Chelsea are also in the hunt. 

The Blues in particular could sign the youngster and loan him out to their partner club Racing Strasbourg to give him more experience.
