Arsenal are lining up a move for AC Milan left-back Davide Bartesaghi, according to Caught Offside.
The Gunners bolstered their backline with the signings of Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie last summer.
Hincapie was signed on loan from Bayer Leverkusen on deadline day, but there is a conditional obligation to buy him.
Arsenal are reportedly still looking for more defensive reinforcements and they have been left impressed by Bartesaghi.
The 19-year-old has stepped up as AC Milan’s regular left wing-back this term after Theo Hernandez‘s move to Saudi.
The Rossoneri have no plans to sanction the defender’s sale at the moment, but the scenario could be different next summer.
Milan have had concerns with Financial Fair Play and could be forced to contemplate his departure for the right price.
It has been claimed by Calciomercato previously that a package of around €30 million could be enough to land him.
Arsenal are also keeping tabs on young Milan goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani.
