TNT Sports suffer another audio farce as Leeds United versus Man United is broadcast without SOUND for three minutes during the first half at Elland Road – leaving fans furious

TNT Sports faced another broadcasting backlash after losing audio during the first half of their coverage of Leeds United’s 1-1 draw with rivals Manchester United

The incident occurred during the 15th minute of the match at the 14:55 mark and lasted for three minutes at the 17:55 mark.

It was unclear at first as to what had happened before the broadcaster displayed a message across the screen which read: ‘We apologise for the loss of sound and hope to correct the fault shortly.’

However, the placement of the display also meant viewers were unable to see the scoreline too.

And football fans made their displeasure known on social media.

‘Sums TNT up this, losing their sound,’ wrote one user on X.

Another posted: ‘What the h** is going on with this TNT sport audio #LEEMUN.’

‘TNT putting up a notice about no sound which means we also can’t see the bottom of the screen,’ wrote one user.

Predicting the criticism, commentator Darren Fletcher said: ‘It seems like we’re back apologies for that can’t wait for the avalanche of positivity on social media. sorry to spoil the day.’

It’s the latest criticism of the broadcaster with their coverage of the ongoing Ashes series having been derided by many viewers since the first Test began in November.

Their feed for the coverage Down Under has been critiqued for being out of sync, meaning commentators have been spoiling wickets before the moment happened on screen.

As for the action at Elland Road, Leeds United took the lead through Brenden Aaronson on 62 minutes before Matheus Cunha equalised just three minutes later to earn the visitors a point.
