Rayan to Bournemouth?

Bournemouth are reportedly winning the race to sign Manchester United target Rayan from Vasco da Gama this winter.

The 19-year-old is one of the brightest young talents in Brazilian football and he netted 20 goals during the previous campaign.

Rayan recently committed to a new long-term deal at Vasco with a £70 million release clause, but could leave for much less.

The Cherries have stepped up their pursuit of the teenager after parting ways with Antoine Semenyo, who has signed for Manchester City.

Rayan has already agreed personal terms with the South Coast outfit and negotiations are underway to finalise a fee with Vasco.

It has been claimed that a package of around £30 million could be sufficient to land the youngster, who can play upfront or on the right wing.

Rayan has been targeted by the Red Devils over the last few months, but they are unlikely to make a winter approach for his services.

A new midfielder could be targeted by the hierarchy instead.
