The penultimate full week of the 2026 January transfer window is officially here and clubs are therefore ramping up negotiations over several late deals.
Chelsea are eager to sign Stade Rennais defender Jeremy Jacquet, while outcasts Raheem Sterling, Axel Disasi and Tyrique George have all been tipped to depart this month. Lucas Paqueta wants to leave West Ham.
In addition, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid and several other top clubs could be active in the market before the winter window closes on 2 February in a bid to bolster their first-team squads for the remainder of the campaign.
January spending is usually far more limited than during the summer, however a number of major transfers have already been confirmed and several others are likely to be completed before Deadline Day.
So far this month, Man City have signed Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi, Pascal Gross has returned to Brighton & Hove Albion, Conor Gallagher has joined Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham have landed striker duo Pablo and Taty Castellanos.
