There is now less than two weeks remaining of the 2026 January transfer window and clubs across European football are therefore ramping up negotiations over several late deals.

Chelsea, for example, are eager to sign Stade Rennais defender Jeremy Jacquet, Marseille are in talks over a loan deal for Arsenal wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri and Lucas Paqueta wants to leave West Ham.

Several top clubs are expected to be active in the market before the winter window closes on 2 February, despite the fact that January spending is usually far more limited than during the summer.

A number of major transfers have already been confirmed and several others are likely to be completed before Deadline Day.

So far this month, Man City have signed Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi, Pascal Gross has returned to Brighton & Hove Albion, Conor Gallagher has joined Tottenham Hotspur and Lyon have completed the loan signing of Real Madrid forward Endrick.
