The 2026 January transfer window is now over and plenty of late activity is expected to happen in the market.
Aston Villa and Chelsea are battling for the signing of Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz, who is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, while Oleksandr Zinchenko is in negotiations over a move to Ajax.
Jean-Philippe Mateta wants to leave Crystal Palace amid interest from Nottingham Forest, West Ham United have agreed to sell Lucas Paqueta to Flamengo, and Leeds United are eager to land Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Most top clubs are expected to keep their power dry before Deadline Day, with January spending far more limited than during the summer, but a number of late transfers could still be announced.
Several high-profile deals have already been announced since the window opened on New Year’s Day, with Manchester City have already signed both Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi, and Tottenham Hotspur landing Conor Gallagher.
Pascal Gross has returned to Brighton & Hove Albion, Lyon have completed the loan signing of Real Madrid forward Endrick and Facundo Buonanotte has joined Leeds United on loan after Chelsea terminated his temporary deal in west London.
Meanwhile, Brennan Johnson has signed for Crystal Palace, AS Roma have landed Donyell Malen and Robinio Vaz, and Ethan Nwaneri has completed a loan move to Marseille.
