Liverpool suffer major blow as Jeremie Frimpong limps off in Champions League – adding to Arne Slot’s injury woes

Liverpool have suffered another major injury blow after Jeremie Frimpong was forced off in the opening minutes of their Champions League clash against Qarabag.

Frimpong pulled up in the opening minutes of the match with an apparent hamstring injury.

The Dutch international was unable to continue and cut a disconsolate figure as he walked around the pitch with the injury requiring him to be replaced.

Wataru Endo came on as Frimpong’s replacement, with Liverpool’s already patched up defence requiring another reshuffle just four minutes in.
