On Sunday, reports suggested that Wednesday’s DFB-Pokal quarter-final between Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig was at risk of being postponed due to a public transport strike in Munich.
The strike will see all subway services in the Munich area suspended, making it difficult for fans to reach the stadium.
However, according to Bild, it has now been decided that the game will go ahead as planned following a meeting on Monday.
A plan has been developed to ensure the quarterfinal proceeds as scheduled, though travel to the stadium will remain a significant challenge for many fans.
