After their Pokal disappointment in midweek, Hertha BSC will be without head coach Stefan Leitl in Saturday’s clash with Hannover 96.

The 47-year-old is suspended, meaning assistant coach Andre Mijatovic will take charge on the sidelines for the first time.

In their most recent 2.Bundesliga game against SV Elversberg, Stefan Leitl loudly complained about a refereeing decision.

He subsequently received his fourth yellow card of the season, which for team officials usually results in a suspension for one league match.

This sanction differs from players, for whom a suspension for yellow card accumulation only occurs after the fifth card.

Leitl’s Hertha currently find themselves sixth in the table on 34 points, trailing the promotion places by five points.
