Hertha BSC handed positive update on Reese injury

Examinations have confirmed a best-case scenario for the Hertha BSC captain.

Concern rippled through the club and its supporters yesterday when captain Fabian Reese was forced off late on after a heavy challenge from Maurice Neubauer in the eventual 3-2 defeat to Hannover.

The 28-year-old made his way to the dressing room with a thick bandage wrapped around his left foot, prompting fears over the severity of the injury.
