Arnaud Kalimuendo has hit the ground running at Eintracht Frankfurt following his winter loan move from Nottingham Forest, scoring three goals and providing one assist in eight appearances for the German club so far.

According to Bild, Eintracht Frankfurt already have a strong desire to sign the French striker permanently, with new coach Albert Riera understood to be a big fan of his abilities.

A potential long-term contract until 2031 with a base salary of €3 million per year has reportedly already been prepared.

However, the reported €27 million purchase option included in the loan deal could present a financial challenge for the club.

A final decision is not expected until the end of the season, partly because it may depend on Eintracht’s final league position. Qualification for European competition would naturally boost the chances of making the move permanent.
