Yes, Premier League players can play FPL.
Just like any fan, they can go onto the app and create a team.
Except they can of course choose themselves and any of their teammates in their 15-player line-up for the season.
However, there have been some concerns in the past over whether the stars should be allowed to play FPL due to how connected it is with real-life games.
And some clubs have even put rules on whether the squad can take part or not.
According to Sky Sports in 2021, Premier League players and staff were warned about the potential risks of taking part in FPL.
That followed some high-profile cases of leaked team news after players transferred out or substituted a teammate ahead of a game.
One specific case was at Aston Villa, where Jack Grealish was injured ahead of a game and due to an FPL transfer, that news was leaked.

Who has a team this season?
There are a total of 17 Premier League players who are confirmed to have teams in FPL this season.
Tottenham’s James Maddison and Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale headline the names as the England teammates get involved in the action.
Aston Villa’s John McGinn also plays and so do a variety of Newcastle players including Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schar and Harvey Barnes.
