A statement from the club read: “After new medical examinations and a new in-depth study of Nuno Mendes’ situation, the Paris Saint-Germain medical department made the decision to carry out surgery this Friday in Finland. The player’s unavailability is estimated at four months.”
Paris Saint-Germain will also likely be without Kylian Mbappé, who was forced off with an ankle sprain on the half-hour mark of the 4-0 Classique win over Marseille on Sunday, as they look to clinch top spot on the table when they travel to Clermont for their Ligue 1 Uber Eats Round 7 clash on Saturday afternoon.
