According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, FIGC inspectors have reported Massimiliano Allegri’s ‘repeated and personal insults’ towards Gabriele Oriali, so the Milan coach will be fined or suspended.

FIGC prosecutor Giuseppe Chiné has already received a report about the word of words between Allegri and Antonio Conte’s assistant Gabriele Oriali during a Supercoppa Italiana semifinal between Milan and Napoli on Thursday.

Napoli had released a statement after the game, accusing the Milan coach of having repeatedly insulted Oriali, a 1982 Italy World Cup winner, and a video from Sportmediaset effectively appears to show Allegri yelling at Conte’s assistant on the touchline.

According to Gazzetta, Allegri is likely to be punished for his behaviour, especially because FIGC inspectors closely witnessed the incident last night and reported it in a document which is being reviewed by Prosecutor Chiné.

The Italian newspaper says that the report mentions ‘repeated and personal insults’ coming from the Milan coach.

Allegri risks being fined or even suspended for one or more league games. The first option seems the more likely at this stage, but the nature of the punishment will depend on what exactly was reported by inspectors last night.
