Arsenal say Calafiori not for sale

AC Milan have made an approach to sign Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori this summer, according to The Mirror.

The Rossoneri had a dreadful Serie A campaign. They failed to qualify for Europe, and there could be plenty of new additions to the squad.

The club recently made an enquiry for Calafiori, but the Gunners have made it clear that they won’t entertain any proposals for the defender.

Milan are also keen on Oleksandr Zinchenko and reports claim that Arsenal are open to sanctioning his departure for the right price.

Zinchenko’s wages are a potential stumbling block for the Rossoneri, but they are prepared to find a solution to secure his signature.

The former Manchester City man has been a squad player for the Gunners. He has fallen behind Myles Lewis-Skelly and Calafiori for a starting spot in the left-back position.

Arsenal may look for at least £20m to part ways with him. Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with an interest in his services.
