Fulham are reportedly prepared to sign Samuel Chukwueze from Milan on loan with an option to buy that could become an obligation if certain conditions are met.

There had already been plenty of suggestions that Fulham were interested in the Nigeria international, along with Fenerbahce and others, but Milan were not ready to release him without guarantees of a sale.

According to Calciomercato.com, that might be changing, with the Premier League side content to introduce some clauses making this an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

It remains to be seen if the terms will be suitable for the Rossoneri or indeed the player, who has struggled to make an impact at San Siro.

Chukwueze was purchased from Villarreal in the summer of 2023 for €21.1m plus up to another €7m in add-ons.

However, his contribution of eight goals and six assists in 69 competitive appearances was considered unsatisfactory.

Sky Sport Italia had already reported that Milan were looking towards Vasco da Gama talent Rayan if Chukwueze was to be sold.
