Milan had initial talks with Valencia for Javi Guerra, with an asking price of €25m and interest also from Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid.
According to Calciomercato.com, there have been some opening discussions between the two clubs for the player, who is currently starring for Spain at the European Under-21 Championship.
He just turned 22 a few weeks ago and is under contract with Valencia until June 2027.
Guerra caught eye of Milan

It has been a strong campaign for Guerra, who scored three goals with three assists in 36 LaLiga appearances for Valencia.
This helped attract interest also from Atletico Madrid and Premier League side Aston Villa.
However, the same source notes that Guerra is not seen as the first choice pick for new coach Max Allegri at Milan.
He would prefer a more experienced figure, specifically Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Granit Xhaka.
Another candidate is Adrien Rabiot, but he seems reticent to leave Olympique Marseille, even for a reunion with his former Juventus coach at San Siro.
