Adeyemi would reportedly prefer joining Real Madrid or Liverpool

If he could choose, Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi would prefer a move to either Real Madrid or Liverpool, as per WAZ.

Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea have been linked with Karim Adeyemi in recent weeks amid reports that he is considering leaving Borussia Dortmund next summer.

However, according to WAZ, the 23-year-old would prefer a move to Liverpool or Real Madrid if he could choose. Neither club has made a concrete approach for him so far, though.

Adeyemi’s contract with Dortmund runs until 2027, and it remains unclear whether he will extend it or take the next step in his career. 

If the club can’t convince him to stay, a transfer in the summer of 2026 – one year before his contract expires – looks likely.

Adeyemi has not made matters any easier for himself, though, having recently been issued a penal order and fined a total of €450,000 for illegal weapons possession.
