A Bayern boss supposedly snubbed the transfer before it could happen.
According to Sport BILD journalist Christian Falk, Amine Adli almost ended up as a Bayern Munich player.
The report states that the Bavarians were close to signing the versatile French-born Moroccan attacker back in summer of 2021.
Adli had supposedly said ‘yes’ to a deal worth around €7million which would have pocketed the player €2million in wages per annum.
However, the offer eventually fell through as one of the Bayern hierarchy put a veto on the transfer as he didn’t know the player.
Since then, Adli joined Bayer Leverkusen where he has made 94 appearances to date while winning the Bundesliga and DfB Pokal double.
