Agent comments on reports linking Köln wonderkid El Mala with Dortmund and Bayern

The agent of FC Köln wonderkid Said El Mala has denied reports that several clubs, including Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, have contacted him regarding his client.

Highly-rated 1. FC Köln youngster Said El Mala is reported to have attracted interest from some of Europe’s top clubs, including Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

However, the player’s agent has dismissed claims that he has held talks with any of these clubs.

“The recent reports that the agent’s side is meeting with Dortmund, Bayern, or clubs from England are not correct,” the agent told Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger.

“At present, there is absolutely no reason for him to leave 1. FC Köln – neither in winter nor next summer. There is currently nothing preventing Said from playing for Köln next season, especially as the club is developing very positively.

“Everyone knows that if Said continues to develop like this, he will eventually take the next step. But in the near future, he is going nowhere and will remain at Köln.”
