Bayer Leverkusen’s search for a replacement for Erik ten Hag has reportedly come to an end.

According to Kicker, the Bundesliga outfit have reached an agreement with Kasper Hjulmand to take over as head coach.

The former Danish national team coach is expected to sign a contract with Die Werkself in the coming days.

Hjulmand has been out of coaching since stepping down as Denmark boss in the summer of 2024.

The 53-year-old Dane previously also managed FC Nordsjælland and Mainz.
