Ajax wonderkid Jorrel Hato is reportedly preparing to join Chelsea during the ongoing transfer window.
The 19-year-old is one of the best young defenders in Dutch football. He was on the radar of Arsenal earlier this summer.
The Gunners have opted to sign Valencia’s Cristhian Mosquera instead of him, but Hato is still expected to move to England.
Hato has recently agreed personal terms with the Blues and talks are now ongoing over the transfer package for him.
It appears only a matter of time before Chelsea land Hato’s services.
Chelsea are also working on adding another attacker to the ranks, and talks are advanced with RB Leipzig for Xavi Simons.
Simons has likewise agreed on personal terms regarding a transfer and the Blues are optimistic of signing him pretty soon.
The London giants are also exploring the market for another wide player and continue to be linked with Alejandro Garnacho.
Garnacho is expected to leave Manchester United this summer.
