Al-Hilal and Roma have reached an agreement over Angelino’s transfer fee, but while the Spaniard waits to board a private flight for Paris, the Saudi side still hopes to convince Milan defender Theo Hernandez.

Roma have accepted an offer of €23m, including add-ons, from Al-Hilal for their defender Angelino.

Despite the agreement between the two clubs, the technical time required to finalise the deal leaves Roma, Al-Hilal and Angelino in a tricky situation.

The June transfer window for clubs involved in the Club World Cup closes tomorrow, and Angelino is ready to get on a private flight to Paris to finalise his transfer.

Al-Hilal have practically booked Angelino, reaching a full agreement with his club, but at the same time, they still hope to convince their primary target, Theo Hernandez, having sent an improved offer for the French defender.

Milan are open to selling Theo as his contract runs out in June 2026, but the player is not convinced about moving to the Saudi Pro League.
