Alexander Isak is being monitored by six European giants amid his uncertain future at Newcastle United.
The Sweden international has three-and-a-half years remaining on his current contract at St James’ Park and talks over a fresh deal have been ongoing for several months.
However, Isak is yet to receive a new offer and his camp have been left “shocked” by Newcastle’s approach, according to TBR Football.

Several issues have reportedly arisen during contract extension talks, including a prospective release clause, and Eddie Howe’s side could now look to sell Isak in 2025 as a result.
Arsenal and Chelsea are both described as “long-term admirers” of the 25-year-old, while Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester City and Juventus are also reportedly keeping tabs on his situation at St James’ Park as they eye a possible move next summer.
Isak has five goals and two assists in 11 appearances across all competitions so far this season, and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €67.9 million.

Newcastle to sell Alexander Isak?
In late October, the aforementioned Howe was asked about Isak’s future at Newcastle amid links with some of the biggest clubs in the Premier League. “That’s a slightly more complex situation,” the Magpies boss admitted.
“Regarding contracts, I’m not involved in those discussions day to day. With Alex, he’s got a long contract anyway at the football club and we have to be really careful with our spending due to profit and sustainability rules (PSR). It’s not a clear-cut situation.
“We of course love him [Isak] and are desperate for him to stay at Newcastle for many years and score loads of goals for us. I don’t see a short-term issue with his contract.”
Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been lined up as a possible replacement for Isak, while Newcastle are also keeping tabs on Lille forward Jonathan David.
The Canada international is set to become a free agent when his current contract with the Ligue 1 side expires next summer and a move to St James’ Park is an option for the 24-year-old.
