Allegri vs. Conte: Who comes out on top in head-to-head? – Football Italia

Two of Italy’s finest tacticians will go head to head when Milan host Napoli in Serie A on Sunday evening, but who has the better head-to-head record out of Massimiliano Allegri and Antonio Conte? 

Who has the better record – Allegri or Conte?

Milan host Napoli in an early Serie A thriller on Sunday evening. The Partenopei lead the division with a maximum 12 points from their opening four league matches of the season, while Milan have won their last four games in a row across all competitions, and could overtake Napoli into first place with a win in San Siro. 

Sunday’s match will also bring a first meeting between Allegri and Conte for over a decade. The two last faced each other during the 2013-14, and this is the first time since then that they have both been managing in Serie A at the same time. 

There is one clear winner when it comes to head-to-head records, though. 

Conte has won five of his eight previous matches going up against Allegri, who has won only once against Conte. Two of their previous eight meetings have ended in draws.
