Carlo Ancelotti admits his Brazil side ‘didn’t react well’ to a Fabricio Bruno error, leading to a 3-2 loss against Japan.

Ancelotti lost his second game as the Brazil head coach on Tuesday, suffering a 3-2 comeback defeat to Japan.

Brazil wasted a two-goal lead in the second half as Japan began their comeback when Fabricio Bruno gave the ball away inside his own box.

“It was a good lesson. There are things we must learn from today’s game, especially in the second half,” Ancelotti said at a press conference via TMW.

“The team played well against South Korea two days ago. Tonight, we played well in the first half, but we were quite weak in the second half.

“We didn’t react well to the first error,” Ancelotti continued.

“It was all under control until that moment. Then, I entirely understand what happened: the team lost their heads. This was the biggest mistake. I don’t think my players had the wrong attitude.”
