Arsenal agree deal for 8th summer signing

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Shamrock Rovers to purchase 16-year-old midfielder Victor Ozhianvuna, according to The Athletic.

The Gunners have had a fantastic transfer window thus far, and they have now secured the services of Ozhianvuna from Shamrock on a pre-contract.

The Republic of Ireland youth international has the ability to play on either wing or the number 10 role. He has already undergone a medical.

A formal agreement over a transfer is expected in the coming days.

Due to Brexit rules, Ozhianvuna can’t join the club until he turns 18 in January 2027, but he is free to sign a pre-contract with the London giants.

Ozhianvuna is set to become Arsenal‘s eighth signing of the summer after Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera, Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze.

He looks to be a very bright prospect, and the Gunners will hope he can develop into a much better player before his switch in January 2027.
