Arsenal are interested in signing Real Madrid winger Rodrygo if an opportunity comes their way, according to The Athletic.
The Gunners are expected to sign a wide attacking player, and they have the preference for a left-sided winger this summer.
Rodrygo is one of the top names on their radar and reports claim that the Brazilian has yet to decide on his future at Madrid.
Los Blancos are expected to sign Argentine wonderkid Franco Mastantuono, who is a right winger. His arrival could reduce Rodrygo’s minutes.
Rodrygo is due to speak with manager Xabi Alonso in the coming days. If he does not receive the guarantee of a starting role, he could contemplate a departure.
Arsenal are keeping a close eye on the Brazilian’s situation and could pounce if he is available in the transfer market over the coming days.
The Gunners could part ways with either Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli if they make a huge outlay on Rodrygo during the summer.
