The Gunners are actively looking to sign at least one new forward in 2025, with Mikel Arteta determined to bolster his first-team squad following their failure to win the Premier League title last season.

Athletic Club star Nico Williams is one of their priority targets for 2025, while Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres, Dusan Vlahovic, Marcus Thuram, Victor Osimhen, Alexander Isak and Joao Pedro have all been touted as possible replacements for Gabriel Jesus.

In addition, Arsenal are also chasing the aforementioned Kudus, who has impressed since leaving Ajax to join West Ham last year.

The Ghana international has played a multitude of positions across his time at the London Stadium, and his versatility would be a major asset for Arsenal, with the Gunners eager to sign a suitable back-up option to Bukayo Saka.

Furthermore, West Ham have relaxed their stance on a sale and Julen Lopetegui’s side are now willing to sell Kudus if they receive a big-money offer during the January window, as per talkSPORT.

Mohammed Kudus to Arsenal?

Kudus has a €103 million (£85m) release clause in his current contract with the Hammers, and it’s believed that Arsenal will need to lodge a similarly eye-watering bid to land him.

The Gunners would be required to sell several players in order to fund a deal for Kudus, but West Ham are now open to offloading the 24-year-old, which could lead to a move to the Emirates Stadium in 2025.

Jakub Kiwior, Kieran Tierney and the aforementioned Jesus have all been linked with Arsenal departures over the past few months, while the Gunners’ wage bill could be freed up by the departures of Thomas Partey and Jorginho upon the expiration of their contracts next summer.
