Arsenal have held initial talks over a potential move for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo this summer, according to AS.

The Gunners are determined to bolster their attack ahead of next season.

A centre-forward is the number one priority but they are also keen on bolstering the wide attacking department.

Rodrygo has emerged as a potential candidate and reports claim that initial contact has been established for the winger.

Arsenal are yet to make a formal move for the 24-year-old, who managed 23 goal contributions for the Madrid giants last term.

Chelsea are also monitoring the forward’s situation but Rodrygo is unlikely to make any decision over his future for the time being.

The Brazilian will meet new manager Xabi Alonso in the coming days to find out how he plans to utilise him next campaign.

If he has any doubts over his playing time, it could pave the way for a surprise move to the Premier League this summer.
