Arsenal have held talks with Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman over a potential transfer this summer, according to AFTV’s Robbie Lyle.
The Gunners are keen on bolstering the left wing department and they are exploring multiple options at the current point of the transfer window.
Real Madrid’s Rodrygo is the preferred target for manager Mikel Arteta, but the Brazil international is still undecided regarding his future.
Crystal Palace‘s Eberechi Eze is the other player on their wishlist and it has been claimed that he has already agreed personal terms with Arsenal.
Amidst this, Robbie has revealed that Lookman is also being considered for the role following another top campaign with Atalanta in Italy.
The Nigerian star has developed into one of the best forwards in Serie A. He registered 27 goal contributions for the Bergamo outfit last term.
Lookman is open to returning to the Premier League, but he won’t come on the cheap with Atalanta set to demand at least €50m for his services.
