Arsenal have been credited with an interest in signing Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown during the summer transfer window, according to Bild.
The Gunners bolstered their defence with Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie last summer, but could add another defensive signing next year.
Bild claim that Arsenal are keeping a close eye on the progress of Brown and could make an approach for his services at the end of the campaign.
Eintracht are aware of the increasing interest in the 22-year-old ace, and expect him to pursue a new challenge when the season comes to a close.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been linked with the young full-back, who has made six goal contributions in all competitions this campaign.
Eintracht are known for demanding premium prices for their prized assets and they are set to demand at least 65 million euros for his services.
Manchester City are another club keeping tabs on the talented ace.
