Arsenal and Manchester United are both interested in signing Corinthians midfielder Breno Bidon during the winter transfer window, according to reports in Brazil.
The 20-year-old had a terrific campaign with Corinthians and was a mainstay in the defensive midfield role over the course of the season. He helped them win a couple of trophies.
His strong ball distribution and defensive attributes have impressed many clubs and Arsenal and Man Utd are among those, who have made contact with his club to ask for information.
Neither are planning a formal bid at the current point, but things could quickly change at the turn of the year. United in particular are yearning for a new holding midfielder in their ranks.
Bidon has the passing traits of Adam Wharton of Crystal Palace. He has the ability to pick out forward passes from deep and would be a good acquistion for Arsenal or United next month.
Corinthians are prepared to sell him for around €20 million.
