Arsenal have reportedly opened negotiations with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen over a potential summer transfer.
The Gunners are likely to make several changes during the next transfer window. A marquee striker is expected to be signed.
They have been linked Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko lately, but reports claim that Osimhen is also high on their wishlist.
The Nigerian star is presently on loan with Galatasaray in Turkey. He has been brilliant for them with 26 goals thus far.
Osimhen has his sights on a bigger challenge in the summer and it is reported that he would be open to a Premier League move.
The Gunners have already spoken with the player’s representatives and they could proceed to speak with Napoli in the coming weeks.
Napoli are expected to hold out for Osimhen’s €75m release clause, but Arsenal may pay more to negotiate staggered payments.
Chelsea and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the ex-Lille man.
