Arsenal are expected to make a third offer to sign Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera in the coming days.
The Gunners have already made two bids for the Spain youth international. Their recent offer of more than €10m was turned down by Valencia.
Mikel Arteta‘s side plan to return with a fresh proposal. They could be willing to come closer to Valencia’s €20m price tag by including add-ons.
Mosquera is a central defender by trade, but can also operate at right-back. The 21-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners.
Valencia have tried to extend his contract beyond June next year, but Mosquera has made it clear that he wants to join the London giants.
It is only a matter of time before the Gunners strike an agreement. Valencia are aware of the same, but are hoping to secure the best price for him.
Real Madrid are no longer in the race to sign the talented defender.
