Arsenal handed big boost for Newcastle game

Arsenal have received a multiple injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The Gunners are presently second in the standings with 68 points and can secure Champions League football next term by beating the Magpies.

Ahead of the encounter, the club have received massive news on the injury front. Declan Rice has returned to the mix after a minor muscle issue.

Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli picked up knocks against Liverpool, but both have also been involved in team training in the last few days.

Alongside the trio, there is also good news on Kai Havertz. The German has trained with his teammates after his return from hamstring surgery.

The German has been a big miss upfront due to his presence and goalscoring traits. He could make a cameo appearance on Sunday.

Arsenal have lost three games in all competitions against the Magpies this campaign and have the opportunity to make amends this weekend.
