Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya remains doubtful ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow.
The Spaniard travelled with the Gunners to Girona in midweek, but he was absent from the matchday squad for the Champions League encounter.
Speaking after the game, Arteta said that he has a muscle injury. He made a similar statement in the pre-match presser for the City game yesterday.
Raya now faces a race against time to be fit. Arsenal fans will be hoping that he can prove his fitness ahead of a must-win game against the Cityzens.
Arsenal are already nine points behind league leaders Liverpool and they can’t afford to drop points against Pep Guardiola‘s side with home advantage.
Neto made his Gunners debut in goal against Girona in midweek. The Brazilian was unconvincing and made a high-profile error in the game.
The Bournemouth loanee is likely to start again if Raya fails to recover.
